Hello! Last weekend I went to a baby shower for my sister-in-law, who is having a girl. I've always thought it would be fun to make some cute onesies with some fabric cut outs sewed on. I cut out these little pieces with my Silhouette, and then sewed them on with my sewing machine. After that, I added some Stampin' Up! buttons that I sewed on by hand. I loved using some of my Flirtatious fabric by Stampin' Up! I've always wanted to cut into it, but never did until last week. I love it!!!! I have a ton of fabric to play with too. So exciting!
Then I made this card for my sister-in-law as well. I should have used the purple fabric from the Flirtatious fabric pack, because she's not too keen on pink. Oh well. Next time!
I was happy that she loved the card, because I stayed up WAY too late making it, and I just love this card that I cased from Heather Summers. It's such a sweet card. So precious! I still want to frame one and hang it in my stamping area…. Love this card! I used the new Baby We've Grown stamp set, and the Banner Blast Stamp set and Banner Punch that you can get for FREE right now during Sale-A-Bration, with a $50 purchase. Such a great deal! Now's the best time to stock up on all things Stampin' Up! You can place an order by contacting me, or through my online store here. Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Banner Blast Take 2!
Hello! I have several cards to show you over the next few days featuring the Banner Blast Stamp set and matching punch that you can get for free when you spend $50 during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration. I love this stamp set and keep seeing great cards and projects with the stamp set. It's definitely a must have, if you can get it for free!
Here's a card that we are making at a workshop/party I am demonstrating at tonight. I got this idea from my friend Mayra and simply changed up the colors, since I didn't have the colors she used.
The colors I used were Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Strawberry Slush, Costal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. I tied a little Pool Party Baker's Twine around the Whisper White piece of my card and then popped up my banner pieces with a dimensional. The greeting is from Four You, and the banners and stars are from the Banner Blast Sale-A-Bration set.
Here's the original card I made, but decided I wasn't crazy about it because the color scheme wasn't bright and birthday ish to me, but rather too baby ish, so this card didn't make it to the workshop tonight.
Thanks for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow for a to die for card with this same stamp set. I fell in love with the card the moment I saw it, and I'm sure you will too! I'll see you tomorrow!

Banner Blast Card
Hello! Today's card is one I made with the Sale-A-Bration set Banner Blast and the matching Banner punch. I altered the card a little from its original design, but after I added some extras, I wished I hadn't done so much to the card, because now I feel like it's too busy, and I love clean and simple. I'll have to make another one the way it was supposed to look originally.
I used the colors Strawberry Slush, Island Indigo, Crisp Cantaloupe, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Baked Brown Sugar. Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Covered Note Pad
Hello! I have another project to share with you from stamping with my friend Mayra last week. She came up with this really fun notepad a while back, and I love being the recipient of these, since I make lists and notes all day long! She made one back at Christmas, and then made more with the Sweet Sorbet Sale-A-Bration paper and some Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. She also likes to be creative and roll up a piece of Designer Series Paper and slip it inside a pen, because a notepad isn't complete without a pen!
We also used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Petal Parade, and a stamp from a past Paper Pumpkin, which was absolutely perfect for this project! Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Helpful Hints and Petal Parade Sale-A-Bration Card
Hello! Today I have some fun tips to share with you. I was stamping last night at my friend Mayra's house, and we did a crinkling technique on a flower that we put on our card, and it got me thinking. Mayra showed me how you can spray a little bit of water on a flower and crinkle the edges to rough it up a bit and add dimension, texture, and make it look more real, and we have always used some spray bottle that she has, but I realized I have a bunch of the Stampin' Spritzers from Stampin' Up!, and I thought, why not fill that with water and always have one by my punches so that I can easily spritz my flowers when I want to scrunch them? Spritzing and then scrunching your flower breaks down the fibers of the paper, so that's why/how it gives it more dimension and a more life like look.
I also was reading the little paper insert that comes with every embossing folder from Stampin' Up!, and I learned a helpful tip that I never would have known otherwise! I always feel like a nerd when I read instruction manuals that come with things that are pretty self explanatory, like embossing folders, punches, washing machines, dish washers, etc., but it's really amazing what you can learn from them. I learned that from my aunt. She's very very smart, and one day she was talking to me about something and mentioned that she was reading the manual to her dishwasher and learned that if you put your silverware a certain way in the silverware tray, they come out cleaner, as opposed to putting them another way. I thought, wow, she's pretty smart already, but she was reading the instruction manual? Anyway, it pays off, because you learn things that you may not already know, or would never think of, but makes things a little (or a lot) easier! So what I learned while reading the embossing folder insert was that with embossing folders that have a dense (tight or busy) design, you will sometimes get an image that rips or cracks your paper. There's a way to avoid that! If you spritz your paper lightly with water or bending/sliding your paper over the edge of a table before embossing, it will help break down the fibers of the paper, making it softer while running it through the Big Shot, and you won't end up with a ripped or cracked design.
Here's the card I made with the scrunched flower:
This card uses the Petal Parade stamp set that you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration when you spend $50. I don't have the set yet, but will definitely be ordering when I place my next order! We also used a small strip at the bottom from the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper pack, which you can also earn for free with a $50 order. Sale-A-Bration is the best time of year to order stuff. Have you been holding off on ordering things that you're out of or are almost out of? Now's the best time ever to restock your adhesives, paper, inks, embellishments, ribbon and whatever else you need, because you earn a free item with every $50 purchase. You can make one big order or several small ones, but either way, you will get a free item for every $50. For example, if you place one big order totaling $200, you would get 4 free Sale-A-Bration items, just as you would if you placed four orders totaling $50. It's a win-win situation! Contact me if you would like to place an order, or order directly from my website here. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you learned lots of new and neat tricks to try! I'll see you tomorrow!

Life Doesn't Have To Be Perfect
Hello! I love the greeting for this card. It's so true, and I love that I have a stamp that reminds me! This stamp is part of the Perfect Pennants set in the Occasions catalog. I paired it with my lovely paper from the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series paper that you can earn for free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration. You really should get this paper. It's such a great deal! I used it for the Crisp Cantaloupe mat behind my greeting, as well as the larger design for the main background. It's a very versatile paper pack. You can do so much with it!
This card is pretty self explanatory. I made it in two versions for a friend's birthday, and just swapped out the greeting for a birthday one, also from the Perfect Pennants stamp set. I hope you enjoy today's card, and I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

Masculine Valentine's Day Card
Hello! I know sometimes it can be hard to not make a valentine's card with red and pink, but for those of you whose valentine hates that kind of stuff, here's a valentine made by my friend Mayra, that's a little more geared towards the men in our lives.
This card uses the new Banner Blast stamp set and matching punch from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, as well as a greeting from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes. This card is pretty easy, but I think it's a great card, whether for a girl or a guy. Thanks Mayra for the fun card! Thanks for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow!

More Thank You Cards
Hello! Can you ever have enough Thank You cards? I can't. I run out of them faster than I can say the word, it seems. Here's another take on a thank you card I made with the Another Thanks photopolymer stamp set and the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. (You can get this paper for free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration. What a deal!!!) That paper is so pretty, and I love, love, love that thank you stamp set. It's a must have for anyone who makes thank you cards!!!
I made two of these, because I couldn't decide if I liked the greeting centered or down on the bottom left hand corner, and you know what? I like them both! They're different and I like each one. I hope you enjoyed my cards today. Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Sailor Valentine Card
Hello! For those of you who don't want a mushy valentine, don't have 'that kind of person' to give one to, or whose Valentine would gag over a mushy valentine, here's a nontraditional Valentine for you! This card was designed by my friend Jamie Garrett at our demonstrator meeting last month. I love this new nautical set in the Occasions catalog, and never thought of it as a Valentine-ish set until today. I think it works great as a friend card or for Valentine's Day for anyone who isn't ready to throw out "I love you" or when it isn't appropriate.
We used the Wood Grain embossing folder, several circle punches and the circle framelits, and the new stamp set Hello Sailor, the High Tide Designer Series Paper, and the new 1 1/4'' Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Summer Starfruit. We also added a few rhinestones to the card, but you could leave them off if your Valentine isn't into that kind of thing, or if it's too girly for them. Anyway, I hope you like today's card. Purchase the items to make this card in my online store, and you can earn a free item for Sale-A-Bration! Thank you to Jamie! Thank you for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Sale-A-Bration Gift Wrap Ideas
Hello! I'm loving all of the stuff you can earn for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration, and I saw these really cute ideas on the Stampin' Up! website yesterday and just had to share them! I love how they made all of these projects. These definitely gave me some new ideas and inspiration, so naturally I had to share them with you too!
IT’S A SALE-A-BRATION!
It’s time to celebrate. At Stampin’ Up!, we call it Sale-A-Bration! And it’s a great time of year.
Sale-A-Bration (US/CA) is a promotion where you can earn free, exclusive products with a $50 US/$60 CA purchase. I really love the offering this year. The Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and Accessory Pack (US/CA) are some of my favorite things.
Using the twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, I created pom poms as a gift topper. To create a pom, I simply wrapped a generous amount of twine around a ruler—but a fork also works well. Remove it from the ruler, then tie a piece of twine around the center of the entire twine bundle. (If you’re using a fork, tie it between the tines—it will hold everything in place.) Tie the knot as tightly as possible. Then, cut the loops on each side and fluff. I also trimmed longer strands to create a more uniform shape.
To create bigger poms, wrap the twine around your fingers or a larger object. The more twine you use, the fuller your poms will be. There are lots of tutorials available on Pinterest that can help you make great poms!
I also used the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack on my chevron bag. To create an alternate-shaped gift bag, I started by trimming a tiny strip from the bottom of the bag. Next, I created new score lines on the outside edges at 1". I also created a score line 2" from the bottom of the bag. Then, I used the new score lines to create a fuller, more 3D shape.
Cut the vertical score lines on the bottom of the bag, but only up to the new 2" horizontal score line. Then you can fold in the sides and create the base of the bag. (I added a scrap of cardstock to the bottom of the bag for added support.)
The cork pieces from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack are a fun new way to embellish a card or tag.
Last, I created a simple card. I made polka dots on my card using a pencil eraser andWhisper White Craft ink. Then I added a fun greeting using the new See Ya Later Stamp Set (US/CA), Starburst Framelits, and Stampin’ Write Markers (US/CA).
I hope you’re excited about getting free products! Go ahead and Sale-A-Brate!
Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow! All of these items can be purchased by contacting me or by ordering directly from my website. Thanks!

Valentine Banner Card
Hello! I'm keeping this post short today since I'm still sick. The card base is Costal Cabana. Ink colors used: Real Red, Costal Cabana, Crumb Cake. The patterned paper is from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper stack, the stamps are from the Banner Blast Sale-A-Bration stamp set, punched out with the Banner Punch, and 'strung' on a string of Baker's Twine. I also used the oval punch and scallop oval punch, and a little mini heart from the Owl Punch. All products are from Stampin' Up! and can be purchased in my online store here.
Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Gltter Valentine
Hello! I'm late in posting today. Sorry. I've been busy and am sick too, so I'm just not on top of things today. This card is one I cased from my favorite stamper, Jenni Pauli. I love her blog and check it almost daily. I cased almost exactly, and you can see her card on her blog at www.paulinespapier.de
She does great work!
The stamp is from a stamp set that you can get for free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration, which starts next week. I'm excited about it! I hope you like the card, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Sale-A-Bration Polka Dot Treat Bags
Hello! I'm loving these new little polka dot bags you can earn during Sale-A-Bration! As demonstrators, we can earn items early so we can show them off to you to build a little excitement. Sale-A-Bration starts January, 28. I love Sale-A-Bration! For every $50 you spend on products from the current Stampin' Up! catalogs, you can earn an item for free from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. It's a great deal, and a great time to buy your products! Here's a sneak peek at the polka dot bags from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
I stamped a little thank you from the Six Sided Sampler stamp set inside a hexagon from the same set, punched it out with my hexagon punch, punched a small hole in the hexagon, and tied my greeting to the bag with some Island Indigo bakers' twine. That was easy! Inside the little bags are a small stamp and a Stampin' Spot, as a thank you to some of my customers!

Sale-A-Bration Peek and A Birthday Card!
Hello! Yesterday was my sister in law's birthday, so of course I needed to make a card! I took an idea I used on a card I featured a few days ago, and did something similar. I used the banner punch I earned from the Sale-A-Bration pre-order available to demonstrators, and used the paper from Sale-A-Bration as well. I just took my banner punch, and turned my paper a different direction than I did the other day and made several punches in a straight line to lengthen the banner. Then I laid the paper flat on the Summer Starfruit card base and stamped Happy Birthday in the window. After that, I adhered my patterned paper to the card base, punched a flower out with the itty bitty punch pack, added a pearl to it, stuck that on my card, and then tied some string around the card and was done! I needed the card to be quick because I still had to maker her banner and do a little baking!
I hope she liked her card. This pattern seems very much her style and color scheme, though it is a bit too loud for me. Anyway, thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Sweet Sorbet Thank You Card
Hello! Today's post is a card I made with new stuff! I am in love with the new paper you can earn through Sale-A-Bration!!!! I picked it from the catalog not really loving it, but now that I made some cards with it, I'm just the opposite! As I was cutting the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, I was reminded of my favorite movie You've Got Mail and a fresh bouquet of spring flowers! It made me happy just thinking about those things. I didn't have a recipient in mind when I first started making this card, but the more I worked on the card, I knew exactly who the card is perfect for-my sister in law! She'll love it because it's totally her style and she loves color combinations like this.
Supplies used on this card were Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (A free Sale-A-Bration Item available starting January 28th), Pansy Punch, Four You Stamp Set, Summer Starfruit Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Pool Party Cardstock, Angled Tag Topper Punch, twine, and Sahara Sand ink. You're going to love all the new products coming out in the Occasions Catalog on January 3rd! I'm loving everything I ordered! Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow!
