Hip Hip Hooray Card Left Overs!
Hello! I don't know about you, but I always seem to struggle with left over pieces when I'm scrapbooking or making cards. But this time, it was easy to figure out how to use my left overs. I used the left over card stock stickers from the Hip Hip Hooray card kit to make little thank you cards for my Etsy and Stampin' Up! customer orders. I always need thank you cards. These cards were a snap to create, with left over card stock from my son's birthday party decorations I made and the Hip Hip Hooray Cardstock stickers. Take a look at what I did with my left overs. I made my favorite-mini cards! (And one regular sized card).
I couldn't help but notice how this kit would make great cards for a teacher gift. Change up the greeting or make a personalized stamp for the teacher, stamp the cards, and you have an excellent gift for him or her! I think it's a great idea, and who doesn't love to receive ready made cards?

Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit!
Hello! I have another fun kit to share with you! I love kits, I've said it before! I ordered the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit and I love it! It's so fun. It gives you EVERYTHING you need to make 20, and you'll even have some card stock sticker embellishments left over to make more cards! And of course, you'll have the stamps, ink and block left too. A great deal for only $19.95! Here are some of the cards I made with the kit. I looked at the project ideas that came with the kit, and half the time I copied exactly, and the other half, I just made them up myself. Either way, I liked how they turned out. And you can save the idea sheet after you're done making all the cards, because then you have ideas for when you want to use the stamps after the kit is all used up! I thought of that today and was glad I didn't throw my instruction/idea sheet away. You can order this kit in my online store here.
I'm seriously not joking when I say it comes with everything you need to make 20 cards. You have envelopes, card bases, stamps, ink, a clear block, embellishments, a project idea sheet with instructions, and you don't even need adhesive. Did you read that? YOU DON'T EVEN NEED ADHESIVE! Masculine Birthday Card
Hello! I have another masculine birthday card to share with you. I had someone at church ask me to make a birthday card for them, and I'm thinking about giving this one to them. I'm still debating. I like the layout of the card, the colors, the background stamps used on the Whisper White, and the clocks. I also like the style/positioning of the wording in the greeting, but I would take out the "You're How Old?" I think the greeting is comical, but I always worry I'll offend people if I use stamps like that one. However, they wouldn't make stamps that say things like that if people didn't find them funny. Although, I'm not super sarcastic. I struggle with sarcasm and am always getting on my husband's case about his liberal use of it. So, that's why I'm still debating whether I'll give this card to the person who asked me to make a card for them. I do love this card, I just don't know if they're the kind of person who will laugh, or will think "I'm never going to ask her to make me a card again if she's going to insult my friends…." Guess I'll just have to feel it out first. Anyway… on to the card.
There are several products used on this card. The stamps used were Delightful Dozen and Clockworks. Inks used were Costal Cabana, Crumb Cake , Baked Brown Sugar, Sahara Sand, and Basic Gray. Papers used were Whisper White, Basic Gray and Crumb Cake card stock, and the Epic Day This And That Designer Series Paper. I also used dimensionals to pop up the clock, a sponge dauber to sponge around the edge of the clock, and the banner framelits to make the banner in the top right corner. Motorcycle Birthday Card
Hello! Tomorrow's my neighbor's birthday, and I have the perfect card for him. He has a motorcycle, so when I saw this motorcycle stamp, I knew I had to use it on his card! This card uses the Epic Day This And That Designer Series Paper, Epic Day This And That Washi Tape, 1/4'' Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Basic Gray, and the Rev Up The Fun stamp set. The colors used on this card are Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, and Very Vanilla.
I think this is a pretty masculine card. I know my neighbor will love it, it's right up his alley! Thanks for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow!

Birthday Thank You's
Hello! Here's one of the types of cards I made for Thank you cards for my son's birthday. I signed up for paper pumpkin during the free marker deal and I changed up my cards that came with the welcome kit to use as thank you cards. I stamped a party hat in Real Red from the stamp set A Fitting Occasion and then punched it out with a 1'' circle punch, then layered that on another circle punched from a 1/8'' circle punch, and layered that on top of the starburst that came with the kit. Now I have 4 ready to go cards for birthday gifts!
Tomorrow I will have more pictures of the other decorations and things I made for his party tomorrow. I made some cute pinwheels and a banner, as well as name tags for the party favor bags, so I'll have those to show you. I love how they turned out!

On to today's card. Here's one that I absolutely love. It uses several great stamp sets that I just love! It uses the Kind and Cozy Stamp set, Regarding Dahlias, and Flower Shop. It also uses the circles framelits, Pansy Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, and the Little Leaves Sizzlits. I think this card is so beautiful. It's simple yet elegant in my opinion. I love it! The colors used on this card are Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Night of Navy, and Always Artichoke.

Baby Card Holder and Matching Cards
Hello! Today's project is one I made a while ago, but I still love it. I made it for a friend who was having a baby, and everyone loved it. I've made these with several different themes, and they always turn out great. Who doesn't love a set of cards with envelopes in a matching folder that holds them all together? Such a fun gift!
Because this project was made a while ago, all the stamps are retired, but Stampin' Up! does have two great baby stamp sets right now called Baby Prints, and Baby, We've Grown that would work beautifully for a recreation of this gift. The ribbon I used is the Whisper White Taffeta ribbon, which is my absolute favorite ribbon by Stampin' Up! It's so elegant and soft and just makes everything beautiful.
