Hello! I have a fun post for you today. I made earrings with the Dahlia Embellishments that are in Stampin' Up!'s catalog. I was at my friend Mayra's and she came up with the idea. After I made a pair at her house, I went home and made earrings with a whole container of the Dahlias. I just loved them that much. They made great gifts too, with this little box we made to hold the earrings in. So cute and mini!
To make your earrings, just buy some earring bases at your local craft store along with some jewelry glue. Glue your embellishments of choice onto the earring backs, and let the glue dry for a day or two so that the embellishments don't slide around.
I cut a small piece of card stock and punched holes in it to hold my earrings when I gave them away.
This box was made with the retired Matchbox die from Stampin' Up! in the Patio Party Designer Series Paper (also retired). But you can make your own little box easily if you don't have the die.
I stamped the greeting from the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp set and cut it out with the coordinating framelits, and stuck it under a layer of flowers made with a flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. Such a fun little gift, don't you think? I think I want to make some more earrings with the new embellishments in the 2014 In Colors. I'll be sure to post pictures of them if I do! Thanks for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow!

More Stamp Case Note Pads
Hello! I made these little note pads a little while ago for some friends and customers, and I've been wanting to share them with you ever since. I had so much fun making these. I made a ton of them when I was given the cases by a friend, and now I think I've made them for just about everyone I know. They're great because you can use them anywhere, and the case protects the notepad.
These note pads were made with the Patio Party Designer Series Paper (retired) the Sale-A-Bration Banner Punch, and the Decorative Label Punch. The colors I used were Baja Breeze, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals, and Midnight Muse. The stamps are from last year's October Paper Pumpkin.
These ones were made with the Sale-A-Bration paper Sweet Sorbet, the Decorative Label Punch, and the colors I used were Costal Cabana, Summer Starfruit, Sahara Sand and Whisper White. I used the stamps from the October Paper Pumpkin from last year.
They're a breeze to make too. I hope you enjoyed my post today. Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Birthday Milk Carton
Hello! Today's project is a paper milk carton I covered with paper from the Patio Party Designer Series Paper pack. I love this paper, especially after I finished with this project! I cut a lace doily out of Whisper White card stock with the Perfect Pennants Bigz die, and then some banners that I punched with the Banner punch (that you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase), and an S that I cut with my Timeless Type Alpahbet Jr. Sizzlets Dies, added a small heart with the Small Heart Punch, and that was it! I love how the milk carton turned out, and as always, I didn't want to give it away, but was happy with the work when I did give it away to the girl I tutor. The colors I used were Whisper White, Summer Starfruit, Baja Breeze, Raspberry Ripple, and Primrose Petals.

Starburst Sayings
Hello! I'm definitely loving the stamp set Starburst Sayings from the Occasions catalog by Stampin' Up! It's such a fun set. I love the big stamp that says "Oh Happy Day". Many times I struggle when making a card because most stamps are so small that I feel like I'm left with a huge space to fill, and when that happens, I worry about the card not flowing or looking good. But with this stamp set, I don't have that problem, because the one stamp is so huge. I love that it takes up a good chunk of the card front. I also love the word choice, and I love the lettering. It's trendy yet pretty. Here's a card I made for a friend for her birthday, along with the box I decorated to put her handmade cards in.
I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in the background, and a little bit of the Season of Style Christmas Washi tape behind my starbursts. I only popped up the Celebrate starburst and added rhinestones to the two smaller ones.
Here, this is the box I made to put all the cards in that I made for my friend. I covered an old Oxi Clean container with Patio Party Designer Series Paper, adhered with Sticky Strip. I added a bow and covered the top, and no one would know what the box used to be! I save lots of containers to re purpose them for something else. I think it's fun to find a new use for some of the containers I buy. I hate to recycle or throw away something that could be used again. And most of the time, it's really easy to redress it or disguise it, and it saves me money! All my friends love seeing how I reuse containers, and now they do it to.

Patio Party Card Box and Cards
Hello! I made a card box a while back that held a few matching cards, and I wanted to share a different version I came up with later on. I showed some friends the original cards and box, and then when I showed them this box and cards, they said it gave them some more ideas for boxes and cards, because the original set made in gray and yellow was hard to draw inspiration from. This project is made using retired Patio Party Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!, the Make a Cake stamp set, the retired set Best Dad Ever (for the Happy Birthday greeting), the modern label punch (#119849 $16.95), Apothecary Accents Framelits (#127003 $24.95), 3/8'' stitched satin ribbon in Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, and Midnight Muse, Stampin' Dimensionals, sticky strip, and the jewel basic rhinestones.
Hope this project inspires you to make something! Enjoy, and I'll be back tomorrow!
