Hello! I wanted to show you two cards I made that are made with scraps. It's hard sometimes for me to throw away stuff when I think it can be used again for something else, so I've been known to save EVERYTHING from time to time. But it does come in handy when you need just a portion of a piece of paper, rather than cutting or punching into a whole piece of paper. I don't know about you, but when I don't have any scraps in a color, I hate having to cut into a whole sheet of paper just for a 1'' circle. So, that's why I save my scraps.
Here are two cards I made with scraps from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. Most of these pieces were left over, so I came up with the design for the card pretty quickly.
The other pieces were left over from another class that I had in February, and then I stamped my Thank you greeting from the Starburst Sayings stamp set and punched some circles and cut out the starbursts with my Starburst Framelits. The banners I cut by hand, but you can use the Banner Framelits if you have those. The colors I used were Real Red, Costal Cabana, Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, and Crumb Cake. I punched out my heart with the small heart punch in the Silver Glimmer Paper, and that was it! Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Santa Card
Hello! I'm going to be quick today. Time's running out and my to do list is still long!!!
This is a card that was designed by my friend Mayra for our demonstrator meeting a few weeks ago. I love going to make cards when they've already been prepped for me. Mayra's great at doing that. I'm lucky to be able to stamp with her often, and she always has things prepped for me. She's pretty awesome. This card was made with the Color Me Christmas stamp set, the Real Red Goodie Gear Simply Created Kit, the Stampin' Chalk Marker, Silver Glimmer Paper, and the Season of Style Washi Tape by Stampin' Up! The colors used were Crumb Cake, Island Indigo and Cherry Cobbler.
I hope this card gives you some inspiration for those last minute cards on your list. I still have 20 cards to make! See why I'm freaking out?? Agh!!!! Now if I forget to blog for a day or two, you'll know why…... Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

Season's Greetings Snowflake Card
Hello! Today's card is one of the last few Christmas cards I'll be showing for a little while. I wanted to share some ideas with you for your own Christmas cards, and then I'll take a break and get back to fall stamping ideas and other cards like birthdays and thank you's. But the Christmas will be back soon, don't worry. I just don't want to make some people sick of Christmas. (I could never get sick of Christmas, but I understand some people can.) This card is a creation all of my own. It started out as an idea for something completely different, and just kind of took off running and finished with this. I might try again for the original idea I had, but I did like the result of this card. Anything with glitter usually makes me a happy girl!
The card uses these supplies from Stampin' Up: stamp set Festive Flurry and coordinating Festive Flurry framelits dies, the silver glimmer paper (I'm in LOVE with this paper!!!!!!), a retired stamp set Welcome Christmas, and some old ribbon. Hope you like it and that you'll stop by tomorrow for some more fall cards! Thanks for stopping by!
