Gingham Garden Birthday and Thank You cards

Hello!  Don't forget to head over to my online store to check out the new weekly deals revealed today!

For today's post, I wanted to share with you some cards I made using Stampin' Up!'s Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper and stamps from the hostess set Simply Sketched.  I made these with a coordinating box (You can see other samples of the box and matching cards here and here) that would make a great gift for someone.

Here are the three cards, slightly different but with the same supplies and layout:

The supplies I used for this card were the modern label punch, the scallop edge border punch (only on the last card, shown directly above), the Simply Sketched hostess stamp set, Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper, and rhinestone basic jewels.  The colors I used are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, and Pear Pizazz.  That's it!  Easy!  Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Gingham Garden Washi Tape and Flower Shop punch

Hello!  Did any of you get in on the washi tape Stampin' Up! had on sale this past Thursday?  I hope you did!  It's fun to use, and I love how easy it transforms a card into something special so quickly.  Here's a card that uses the tape.  I received this card at Stampin' Up!'s convention this past summer from demonstrator Tonya Davidson.  (A really great place to get fabulous cards from other demonstrators, and lots of ideas!)  It's not too complicated of a card.  She took a piece of garden green card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 11", mounted a 4 x 5 1/4'' piece of whisper white card stock with the corners rounded, added three strips of washi tape in graduating lengths, stamped a flower from the Flower Shop stamp set, punched it out with the coordinating punch, added a rhinestone jewel to the center, and stamped a greeting from the Yippee Skippee stamp set, and that's it.  Easy!  I hope you like this card.  Thanks to Tonya for a cute and simple card!

Enjoy.  I'll be back tomorrow!
