Best Friend Card

Hello!  Today's card is one I received from Nadine Weiner at convention over the summer and I've been dying to share it with you!  I love everything about the card. I love the stamps, the placement, the colors, the technique, the use of multiple mats, just everything!

Nadine used the stamp sets Tape It, Label Love, and Gorgeous Grunge.  The colors she used were Crumb Cake (card base), Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Sluch, Costal Cabana (the five new In Colors for this year-LOVE them!!!!), and Whisper White.  She also rolled up some Linen Thread in a  few circles and placed it behind the Label Love greeting.  I think this card is simple yet genius!  I love the design.  Thank you Nadine for such great inspiration!!!!
Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set

Hello!  Today I want to share another card I received at Stampin' Up!'s convention this past summer.  This card is from demonstrator Chelsey Nauratil.  It's another simple card, which is my favorite kind!  I love the greeting stamped and then punched out with the artisan label punch, then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  It just makes the card stunning in my opinion.  The card is made using the Regarding Dahlias stamp set, stamped in pool party on whisper white card stock and then mounted on basic gray card stock and adhered to a whisper white card base.  I love this card.  It's simple enough to recreate for any occasion-birthday, wedding, christmas, baby, retirement, thank you, thinking of you, and any other occasion or reason you would send a card.  I hope you liked the card and will come back tomorrow!
