Hello! Yesterday was my sister in law's birthday, so of course I needed to make a card! I took an idea I used on a card I featured a few days ago, and did something similar. I used the banner punch I earned from the Sale-A-Bration pre-order available to demonstrators, and used the paper from Sale-A-Bration as well. I just took my banner punch, and turned my paper a different direction than I did the other day and made several punches in a straight line to lengthen the banner. Then I laid the paper flat on the Summer Starfruit card base and stamped Happy Birthday in the window. After that, I adhered my patterned paper to the card base, punched a flower out with the itty bitty punch pack, added a pearl to it, stuck that on my card, and then tied some string around the card and was done! I needed the card to be quick because I still had to maker her banner and do a little baking!
I hope she liked her card. This pattern seems very much her style and color scheme, though it is a bit too loud for me. Anyway, thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Best Friend Card
Hello! Today's card is one I received from Nadine Weiner at convention over the summer and I've been dying to share it with you! I love everything about the card. I love the stamps, the placement, the colors, the technique, the use of multiple mats, just everything!
Nadine used the stamp sets Tape It, Label Love, and Gorgeous Grunge. The colors she used were Crumb Cake (card base), Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Sluch, Costal Cabana (the five new In Colors for this year-LOVE them!!!!), and Whisper White. She also rolled up some Linen Thread in a few circles and placed it behind the Label Love greeting. I think this card is simple yet genius! I love the design. Thank you Nadine for such great inspiration!!!!

Sweet Sorbet Thank You Card
Hello! Today's post is a card I made with new stuff! I am in love with the new paper you can earn through Sale-A-Bration!!!! I picked it from the catalog not really loving it, but now that I made some cards with it, I'm just the opposite! As I was cutting the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, I was reminded of my favorite movie You've Got Mail and a fresh bouquet of spring flowers! It made me happy just thinking about those things. I didn't have a recipient in mind when I first started making this card, but the more I worked on the card, I knew exactly who the card is perfect for-my sister in law! She'll love it because it's totally her style and she loves color combinations like this.
Supplies used on this card were Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (A free Sale-A-Bration Item available starting January 28th), Pansy Punch, Four You Stamp Set, Summer Starfruit Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Pool Party Cardstock, Angled Tag Topper Punch, twine, and Sahara Sand ink. You're going to love all the new products coming out in the Occasions Catalog on January 3rd! I'm loving everything I ordered! Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

Make A Wish Birthday Card
Hello! I finally got to stamp a little bit more with my new stuff today. It was so fun! I made this card for a birthday we have later on today. It uses the new Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper and stamp set Perfect Pennants from the Occasions Catalog, and the banner punch from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. All I can say is that you're going to love all the new items!
Thanks for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow, with more new goodies!

Occasions Catalog Sneak Peak!
Hello! I'm back with a card made with supplies from the new Occasions catalog by Stampin' Up! The items in this catalog will be available starting on January 3, 2014. I'm excited about a lot of them. I used new paper from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, the new Banner punch, the new Gold Sequin Trim, and a stamp from the new set Starburst Sayings! I had so much fun playing with my new stuff, but haven't even touched the surface of all the new things I got. I'll be showing lots more in the next few months!
The awesome thing about the Starburst Sayings stamp set is that it has matching framelits! I'm really excited! I just haven't ordered them yet. Can you imagine how much time it would take to cut one of those out by hand? I can't, that's why I didn't! I used a circle punch instead! The colors used on this card are Pool Party, Costal Cabana, Real Red, Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, Crumb Cake, and the gold trim. I 'frayed' the edges of the patterned paper with my fingernail. I hope you enjoyed a little sneak peak, and I'll be back tomorrow with more sneak peak projects for you! See you tomorrow!

Ornament Christmas Card
Hello! Today's card is another one I received from demonstrator Mary Polcin, while I was away at Stampin' Up!'s annual convention this past summer. Interested in attending convention next year? Contact me to learn how you can go. It's worth it and I loved every minute of it last year! I love this card and thought it was cute because it's a little smaller than your traditional card. I love non-traditional sized cards. This card has a lot of elements that make the card stand out. The background is embossed with the stylish stripes embossing folder, it has some of the Season of Style Washi Tape added to it, it uses the Christmas Collectibles stamp set and matching punch all from the Holiday Catalog by Stampin' Up!, and then it also uses the adorning accents edgelits to make the scallop shape on the bottom, and the ovals collection framelits to make all three of the ovals on the card. Layering objects of the same shape is a cinch with the framelits by Stampin' Up! I love them! Little embellishments used on the card are bakers' twine and rhinestone jewels. The ornament and ovals it's placed on are all popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how the card base is embossed and then mounted again on the same color. It looks so nice that way, rather than just embossing the whole card base itself. Way to step it up for some stunning detail!
The colors on this card are cherry cobbler, old olive, and whisper white. I hope you've enjoyed today's card. Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Snowflake Card
Hello! I hope you're not tired of Christmas cards! I have one more to show you today. This card was designed by my friend Carrie for our demonstrator meeting last month, but when I made my card, I changed it up slightly. I love this card and the color scheme. It's not one I would have ever thought of, but I like it! The card was easy to make too! I just put two strips of paper on the top and bottom part of the card, using none other than my favorite paper, Season of Style Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up, wrapped some costal cabana ribbon around the top part of the card, and stamped a snowflake with the Festive Flurry Stamp set, cut it out with the matching framelits, added a rhinestone jewel to the center, popped it on my card with some Stampin' Dimensionals, and then added my greeting, and I was done! This would be a great card to make if you're still rushing to get those last few cards on your list made like me! It was quick and easy, and it doesn't take a lot of supplies!
By the way, the snowflake is stamped in Costal Cabana, but the greeting is stamped in Island Indigo. I thought it would stand out a little more if the greeting was darker than the snowflake and ribbon. :) Hope you enjoyed today's card. Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Merry Little Christmas Card
Hello! Today's card is one I received while at Stampin' Up!'s Annual Convention over the summer. It was made by demonstrator Julee Hicks. I love this stamp set, Merry Little Christmas! And with the deco labels framelits and the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack, this card was a piece of cake to make!
The ribbon is 3/8'' stitched satin ribbon in Midnight Muse. I hope you've enjoyed today's card. Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Winter Frost Snowflake Card
Hello! I'm not feeling very well today, so when I say this post will be short, I really mean it!
This card was designed by my friend Carrie Nelson for us at our demonstrator meeting last month. The card uses the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper, the 1/8'' silver ribbon and the Festive Flurry Stamp set and matching framelits from Stampin' Up!'s holiday catalog. That's about it for the card.
This second card was made by my friend Jamie Garrett. She also used the Winter Frost DSP, the Festive Flurry Stamp set and framelits, stretchy ribbon in Costal Cabana, and the Frosted Finishes Embellishments from the holiday catalog.
Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll be back tomorrow! I still have quite a few things to share before Christmas!

Christmas Card Folder
Hello. Today's project is something I've made and used over and over again because it's so great. It's a card holder for Christmas cards. I saw this idea a few years ago from a demonstration shown at Stampin' Up!'s convention and have made several versions of this since. This is a pretty easy project to make. It's made from one sheet of card stock with a few cuts and scores. I then placed 6 matching Christmas cards inside with envelopes to give as a gift. I don't have the measurements with me right now, but when I find them, I will be sure to post them so you can make one too. People love getting hand made cards to give to friends, especially if all the work is already done for them!
The colors I used for this folder are Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzaz and Whisper White. The stamp set is now retired and I've forgotten the name, but you can use any stamp set that you have at home. I'm constantly using whatever's my favorite at the moment, so that changes rather frequently. I may just have to make one of these with a birthday stamp set coming out in the Occasions catalog on January 3. I'm getting an idea right now…. Check back for that next month! Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Santa Card
Hello! I'm going to be quick today. Time's running out and my to do list is still long!!!
This is a card that was designed by my friend Mayra for our demonstrator meeting a few weeks ago. I love going to make cards when they've already been prepped for me. Mayra's great at doing that. I'm lucky to be able to stamp with her often, and she always has things prepped for me. She's pretty awesome. This card was made with the Color Me Christmas stamp set, the Real Red Goodie Gear Simply Created Kit, the Stampin' Chalk Marker, Silver Glimmer Paper, and the Season of Style Washi Tape by Stampin' Up! The colors used were Crumb Cake, Island Indigo and Cherry Cobbler.
I hope this card gives you some inspiration for those last minute cards on your list. I still have 20 cards to make! See why I'm freaking out?? Agh!!!! Now if I forget to blog for a day or two, you'll know why…... Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

DIY Christmas Ornament
Hello! Here's another project a friend asked me to share on my blog. This is yet another project made with my friend Mayra. She always has beautiful projects for me to make, and I learn so many techniques from her. She always makes these elaborate cards and projects that typically I would look at and think "that's way too much work" or "that would be way too hard to make", and then I see it at her house, she shows me how to make it, and then I'm like "ok, that wasn't too bad after all!" Thanks Mayra for the endless great ideas!
This is an ornament that was displayed on Stampin' Up!'s holiday catalog last year and is made with the Holiday Ornaments Framelits (#127816 $24.95). These framelits coordinate with the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set (#128048 Wood $34.95, #128051 Clear $25.95) and are still available. I loved learning how to make this ornament. It was time consuming, but I enjoyed every minute of making it.
In the center of the ornament are some snowflakes cut with the Snowflake die in last year's holiday catalog, and then a greeting stamped and cut into a ribbon glued on top of the snowflakes. I added some Cherry Cobbler tulle in between each point of ornaments for some extra color, and added two rhinestones for some shimmer. I love this ornament! I hope you enjoyed the project today. Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you tomorrow!

DIY Rosette Wreath
Hello! A friend asked me to share this project on my blog, so I will. This is a wreath I made at none other than my friend Mayra's house. We made this two years ago, and I still love it and still get lots of compliments on it. Even people who aren't crafters love this wreath and want to make one. It wasn't hard, it just took a lot of time. This was my first experience with rosettes, and while they are time consuming, I will say they are worth the time, because they are absolutely gorgeous and just amazing!
This wreath is made up of 9 rosettes. Some are patterned paper, some are card stock, all in matching colors. I glued a small 3/4'' paper circle on top of each rosette, and then glued a button on top of the circle on a few of them. Then I made a loop with ribbon to hang the wreath from, tied a bow with more ribbon, glued that to the front, stamped a christmas greeting and cut it out, and then glued that to the top front of the wreath, and I was all finished. I love this wreath. It's a beautiful decoration, and an even better gift! I hope to make a few of these before this Christmas and give them to some friends.
Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you Mayra for such a beautiful project! I'll see you all tomorrow!

Merry Christmas Punch Card
Hello! Today's card is a fun card to share because I am always talking about how I save everything, and I even save small scraps of card stock for things like punches. This card was made by using all my left over real red and old olive scraps with punches from the itty bitty punch pack by Stampin' Up! I made this card last year and fell in love with it because it was so simple and inexpensive to make, and I had a lot of card stock scraps left over again this year, so I made it again. My card last year varied slightly in that I used a piece of soft suede card stock for the card base, but I couldn't remember what color I had used last year when I went to make this card again this year, so I made it with old olive. I'll take a picture of last year's card later on this week and show you that one too. But until then, here's the card:
The greeting is a stamp from the November Paper Pumpkin kit. If you haven't signed up for Paper Pumpkin, you really should! It's only $19.95 per month, and it's so fun to get a box in the mail with everything you need to make cards or a little craft. I love it!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by today, and I'll be back tomorrow! I still have quite a few more Christmas projects to share with you! After Christmas I'll start showing stuff from Stampin' Up!'s occasions catalog that will start on January 2. I'm excited to show some of those projects. I love tons of stuff from the new catalog! (But I can't show you yet! We haven't had Christmas yet!) I'll see you tomorrow!

Snowman Hot Chocolate
Hello! Last year as my son was eating lots of baby food, I had an abundance of baby food jars, and knowing me, I had to save everyone of them! I just knew I could do something with them after I washed them out. A friend of mine told me she was saving and re-using her baby food jars as well and showed me this super cute snowman made with baby food jars. It's three layers of jars filled with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows, and chocolate chips, but you could substitute the chocolate chips with peppermint candies if you like peppermint hot chocolate. Either way, it turns out cute.
When they were all filled, I painted the lids with black and white acrylic paint in flat, painted a nose, eyes, mouth and buttons, added some riding hood red striped grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up! for the scarf, and I was done. I think they're really cute, they make great little gifts, and they will cheer anyone up! :) I hope you enjoyed today's post, and thanks for stopping by today! I'll see you tomorrow!

Joy Banner
Hello! This will be a quick post today. Still tons of stuff to do, but I'm sure you can relate- 'Tis the season…. :) I'm excited though. It's all good stuff for sure!
This is a banner I made for a friend last year who was in need of a little Christmas cheer. It's a simple banner, but I love it. Usually when I make something, I'm so proud of my work/so happy with the result that I don't want to give the item away. I did feel that way about this banner, but it was funny because when I showed it to my husband and told him where it was going, he was bummed I had to give it away. :) But it was easy enough that I can make another one. I cut one piece of 12 x 12 patterned card stock to make the flag/banner pieces, trimmed a triangle out of the center of each, cut Joy out with my Sizzix Alphabet dies by Stampin' Up!, glued them to the banner, strung the banner with some Real Red grosgrain ribbon, and I was done. I love how quick it came together, because my friend had told me that morning at church that she just wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit, so after church I raced home, made a few things for her and then ran over that afternoon to deliver them. I had told her I'd deliver them to her the next day, but I got so excited making them, I couldn't wait until Monday and delivered them that same day.

Merry And Bright Christmas Card
Hello! I am excited to share today's card with you! I think this will be my Christmas card for this year. I thought this card up one night while putting my son to sleep and I just LOVE it! I don't know about you, but it just reminds me of Christmas! I love the traditional red and green colors for Christmas. I can't do pink and blue for christmas. It's just not me. I'm a red and green (or white and blue for snowflakes) kinda girl. This card was made with the Festive Flurry stamp set and coordinating framelits dies, and the endless wishes photopolymer stamp set. The colors I used are real red and gum ball green. I added two rhinestone jewels for some extra embellishment, and I cut the slits in the greeting for the ribbon with my paper trimmer, but you could use an exacto knife or hobby blade. Either way you do it, this card was pretty easy!

Winter Frost File Folder Card
Hello! The other day I showed a file folder card designed by my friend Jamie Garrett, and today I want to show the other card she designed. We made these cards at a meeting for demonstrators a few weekends ago. I was so happy to walk away with some fun new cards and projects I had made. Thank you to Mayra, Carrie and Jamie for all the new samples and projects!
The designer series paper used on this card is Winter Frost, and we stamped and die cut a snow flake from the Festive Flurry set from Stampin' Up!'s holiday catalog. The file folder card is easily made with the new Envelope Punch Board from Stampin' Up! You should check it out. It's quite the craze these days because it's so versatile. You can make 62 different sized envelopes out of almost any kind of paper, and you can also make cards and other things! Definitely worth the $19.95!
